Im at the library right now and I dont have the writers of the song, but this is a song we sang in church..."Amazing Love"
the lyrics on the page are:
Amazing Love
O What Sacrifice
The Son of God
giv'n for me
my debt He pays
and my death He dies
that I might live
that I might live
Beautiful! I really love it - it flows so well. One of the coolest illustrations of a song I've seen. My eye is just drawn to the Cross! Gorgeous.
We sing a similar song at my church, with the same title.
"Amazing Love, how can it be
that You my King would die for me?
Amazing love, I know it's true
and it's my joy to honor You
in all I do, to honor You"
Man, what amazing love our Savior has for us! Too great for any word or any song or any picture...God bless, keep it up!
Very nice. I love the colouring on the cross! Sounds like a nice song. I don't believe I've ever heard that one before, though I did hear another with the same title.

Thanks. Yea...it took me a while to decide on the color scheme...but i always knew i wanted the orange to be bright...and a reminder to light in some way. Actually, i was amazed when we got the music for it because i thought it would be the one "Amazing Love..how can it be..." and then we started to sing it and i realized it was a different song. the music notes were somewhat time consuming as I had to make them correct and such but overall I like how it turned out. Thanks for the compliments

Thanks! Wow I havent talked to you in forever!!!!!!!!! I was hoping to really bring out the cross i knew I had wanted something with light...so i came up with fire colors...but for a while I almost just used blue shades for the background..im glad i went with lavender to blue...
Actually I know that song, and when we first got the music in choir i thought it was going to be that song...but it turned out to not be...its really pretty sounding too.
How are you btw?

The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
